A three-year-old British girl is set to become the world’s youngest tattoo artist after undertaking daily lessons from her father.
Most three-year-old girls are just getting to grips with felt pens, but Ruby Dickinson is taking her artistic tendencies a step further.
Ruby Dickinson’s hands are so small she cannot effectively work the normal ink gun she has been practicing with each day after kindergarten, the Daily Mail reports.
So her father, Blane Dickinson, decided to import a miniature tattoo kit from the US to give to Ruby on her fourth birthday.
The current record for the youngest tattoo artist is believed to be held by Canadian Emilie Darrigade, who drew part of a butterfly when she was five

Selvi Bakkiashree can already recite the names of 1,000 medicine brands including betamethosone, ethambutol and filgrastrim – at the age of seven.
She can also prescribe the correct medicine for ailments such as pneumonia, leukaemia and dengue. Now Selvi hopes to put her photographic memory to use by becoming a young doctor – just like teenager Doogie Howser in the TV comedy series.
The girl’s medical talents first came to light at the age of six when she began reading medical books for fun during a visit to her aunt.
She now spends four hours a day learning the names of medicines
‘It gives me a lot of pleasure to know them perfectly,‘ she said. Doctors including India’s director of health questioned Selvi’s medical knowledge and were stunned.
‘If she succeeds, she would be the youngest doctor in the world,’ added the watchmaker from Ariyankuppam in Pondicherry, southern India

On the sets of the film, Kishan Shrikanth confidently calls the shots like all other directors – even though he is only 10.
Master Kishan – as he is known as – comes from the southern Indian city of Bangalore and is a veteran in the regional film industry.
Starting at the tender age of four, he has already acted in 24 regional feature films and has starred in 1,000 episodes of a hit Kannada-language soap opera on television.
But now Master Kishan has decided to try his hand at directing his first feature film, C/O Footpath (Care of Footpath), which he has also co-written.
The film is about the street children who have no other address than the footpaths in India’s big cities.
Shooting for the film, which has a budget of about 8m rupees (under $200,000), is 85% complete. C/O Footpath, due to be released this year, is being shot in Kannada and is expected to be dubbed into Hindi, Oriya, Malayalam, Bengali and Tamil

A case of Guinness Book of the World Records or a penal case? Under the attentive surveillance of his parents, the 15-year-old son of two doctors from southern India performed a filmed Cesarean section. This was made on the run to gain the title of world’s youngest surgeon.
Instead of that, the boy’s father could lose all his licenses and could be charged for a criminal act, as announced by the officials. “Dr. K. Murugesan
showed a recording of his son performing a Cesarean section to an Indian Medical Association chapter in the southern state of Tamil Nadu last month,” said Dr. Venkatesh Prasad, secretary of the association.
Murugesan, who could possibly be prevented from practicing and face criminal charges for allowing his son to perform the operation, expressed no regret and accused the Manaparai medical association of being “jealous” of his son’s achievements. He said this was not the first surgery performed by his son and that he had been training him for the last three years,” said Prasad.
Murugesan told the medical association that he goal was that of registering his son’s name in the Guinness Book of World Records.
