more rejected votes means more people showing that they are not happy with any of the existing candidates, existing parties. In other words there is a vacuum for a new candidate/party. So new people might enter into politics(yes including thieves. but good people will also come.)
we all know that we can't expect any good from 70+ years old current political leaders. so we need new young candidates with new ideas.

It should not be about a single individual right , a whole new political change must happen. Imo, if it works or not, guess JVP/Npp would be the solution at least to show them that a change coule be made. So might pave a way for a more reliable opposition as well.

Mehe aniwa pohottuwe gonnu 25% wath innawa, sajiyage 17% wagemai. So statistically un ekkai prashne tyenne. I do not see a reliable political vision from Npp as well. But my point is at least the main parties would realise that people are opting for a change. But without voting I don't see that coming. In order to have a fourth party we must need to give a chance to a third party first

JVP/NPP guys need everything to be done and presented to common people's door step. I really hate that idea. You can't grow the economy with such ideas.
