Colombo, September 9 (Daily Mirror)- Sri Lankan expatriate workers who are planning to come to Sri Lanka to vote at the upcoming Presidential election are facing difficutlies due to the current visa and passort crisis in the country, NPP MP Vijitha Herath said today.
He told a news conference that a large number of Sri Lankan expatriate workers were expecting to retrun to the country for the elelction and said they are facing difficulties in getting visas while those whose passports have expired are facing difficulties in renewing their passports.
The MP said they doubt if the government has purposly allowed the issues to aggravate.
