Vehicle prices will never come down machan. The only way is for the LKR to be 150 against the USD which is not going to happen.

For instance take a vitz, back in 2018 it was 1.5Yen*1.5+2.2milLKR = roughly 4.5mil LKR
Do the same now with duty and vehicle price the same 1.5milY*2.6 + 2.2milLKR = 6.1mil LKR

So it will probably remain the same provided duty will not increase.

that is artificial ne ban. demand and supply. But if you open the market it will come down but will be like like 30-50% higher than what you saw 3 years back. Everything will depend on the exchange rate and the duty.

it's way too expensive still, a 100% above valuation than what it was purchased for, additionally, when imports start, they will bring the latest 2022 Benz C Class, which is a redesign and new shell, these would go back down, we're still hoping the rupee should stabilize, not VEHICLES, if the rupee goes above, Milk Powder, Fuel, MEDICINE, other commodities would sky rocket. then people aren't going to look at bloody Mercedes Benz, they would be looking to buy milk and medications.
