for that part, i agree with you, and that's one reason I truly fear that anyone who comes forward to change a system like this can be cruelly removed and be forgotten. Also i believe that this system and corruption are self-sustaining. Yet, I truly believe we can change this system if we try hard enough. It may seem like a fantasy, but I still believe in it. How are we going to do that? I think we just need that once in a lifetime outside force to bring that change. The current trend for the NPP is showing signs of that.

But let's say we do manage to make that change, if you ask me how we gonna continue that change for the greater good, I still don’t know the answer.

So, I’m assuming you think NPP gonna bring back communism to SL, and that you believe this won’t work? It’s okay to have your opinion, but i think even the communist party in SL doesn’t fully adhere to communist ideals anymore. What Im saying is not communism, it's more about law and order, equal rights, and a free market with social welfare only when it's necessary. i would say its more of a mixed economy with strong laws that uphold people rights

Your belief that the fundamental aspects of human nature can never be controlled or changed seems a bit delusional to me as well. We are evolving creatures. There was a time when we fought and killed for survival and a time when we adopted religion as a tool to control our social values. Now, we’ve evolved to live by laws. Yes, we, the people, decide what those laws are but as we evolve we become more civilized. It's a process, not something that happens overnight. But anyway its fine, we can always agree to disagree.

It's kind of a paradox. Hypothetically, I would let my son go, but with the fear of that if anyone finds out, I might lose my job. And if someday someone really finds out nad files a complaint against me, if the laws are applied equally, it would be time for me to leave. the choice was already made when i did the crime.

Fear for the law is a important factor.. my point is that in SL some people don't fear the law. This will change when the system changes

Bro, at least try to bridge the gap between the so called power hungry elites and the poor. If you already belong to the elite class, I can understand. But if not, you might spend your whole life thinking, "Oh great, Im living the best life, my hard earned money can give me," without realizing how messed up SL is.(We call it ලිඳේ ඉන්න මැඩියා) Or most probably you'll just migrate to another country and think, "Thank God I escaped that shithole." But most likely, you've already spent a good amount of poor people's tax money for your free education, and for the country, you'll end up being just another bad investment, which leads to more suffering for Sri Lankans. This is just a vicious cycle..
