Dude come down to earth. In which world are you living? To build a house to buy a car one need financing.
Housing loans are usually 10 20 30 years long. I don't think anyone factored in an economic crisis like this 5 years back. Even 2 years back things were relatively fine.
Cost of living has sky rocketted and this interest rate hike is difficult for many. Relative to that salaries have not increased.
