I have got a wild imagination on Seya Sandewumis killing. I could be terribly wrong but I felt I must vomit out my feeling that might help for the on going investigations.
Her mother might had a secret boy friend. so he was used to come to this home time to time at night. (The front window was left broken and the front door had been kept opened)may be Seya had known this uncle and or seen him with her mother. So this secret boy friend wanted to eliminated this witness so, first he killed her by strangling and then raped and later ditched her body at that waterway...........??????????????????
