The Sri Lanka Air Force held a special Ranaviru ceremony at the Ratmalana SLAF base on Thursday July 3 to commemorate 427 air force personnel who laid down their lives in battle in the North and East. The event took place at the Ranaviru Memorial at the air force base.
SLAF Commander Air Marshal Roshan Gunatilleke was the Chief Guest at the commemoration ceremony where bugles were played after the observation of two-minute silence and offering of flowers to honour the dead heroes.
