For me, in future, Kusal Perera should be the No. 6 batsman of Sri Lanka.
Just like,
............. David Miller for SA,
............. Jos Buttler for Eng,
............. Dhoni for IND,
............. Ronchi for NZ and
............. Haddin for AUS .....
A reliable power hitter at the end ....

1) Kusal is not a natural opener, even in club cricket he is a middle order player.

2) Modern ODI cricket doesn't need such hard hitters at the start of the innings, just 5 runs per over is enough for first 10 overs without loosing wickets.

3) SL needs some one with hard hitting capabilities at no. 6 position, which Kusal can fulfill better than any other. So he can express himself with in the last 10-15 overs. ......
