being in a state where you do not believe the deities exist is as stupid as believing in deities I wouldn't be on the opposite of any divine power based religion which is atheism.

if you have no faith in a religion, no want of believing in anything, why label yourself atheist? you can instead choose to not give a fuck and be yourself.

religions I guess came to being through our desire to give meaning to our existence..atheism just seems like equally invalid other side of a already invalid coin

just a side story..
a muslim guy working with me gave me a Quran the other day. i think he's of the view that he can convert me into islam cuz i don't have a religion.. he thinks it's easier to convert an atheist into islam than someone already with a faith, cuz you know first you have to break that guy free of his religion and pump in islamic shit.. I got his work cut out by half by not having a religion in the first place.
