I think Transcend has authorized dealers in Sri Lanka, but in my experience, those dash cams are expensive and not worth the price for the features they provide.

Xiaomi’s are much better.

Just grab a 70 Mai 1S and call it a day. Lithium batteries are relatively safe, so the chances of anything catching fire are tiny. I once had a 3D-printed TPU piece melt in the Bangkok heat while parked outside, but the dashcam never had issues. (the SD card gave out once! though, probably due to the heat)

I mean capacitors are 100% safe in heat ne whereas lithium batteries are "relatively safe"...

Why risk a 10mn car when there are safer alternatives.

I'll likely get a DDPAI capacitor one from Aliexpress (free shipping still available) if I can't find a capacitor one in SL
