in this case plz ... jst read about Xaurora .... and it's 100% Srilanka ...

Its not an issue of if this browser is Sri Lankan or not. Just as these guys are citing various sites to prove whatever they are trying to prove, recognized governing bodies have put forth evidence that its not a 100% genuine product (all these, from both sides were posted in the early threads on this subject).
Harping and whining about this dead project now is pretty much trolling.

Are the people who are so patriotic and crying for blood even aware of other Sri Lankan software that are accepted at a global scale ? such as the Sahana Project which has helped thousands of people ?
Where are their threads in EK even mentioning such software ?

Its well published and won awards over the couple of years if was released and yet no mention of it in EK.
Compare that with this whining over your browser project.
If the browser is uber cool as these guys claim, bad mouthing ICTA and other organizations is not the way to go.
Why is this browser not in available at a site like Sourceforge where most new software make a name for themselves ? If its truly great, by now it would've won a sourceforge award if it ever was entered there (as Sahana has done).
There's no mention of it ever being applied for Google summer of code.
The way to promote this software properly would've been to add it to such projects.

All searches for this software leads to the blog created by the author of the software and a thread in EK as well as various other blogs where its authenticity is being questioned.
Looking at the blog its quite clear that the member gotaimbara is the author of the software himself and its his latest ID here. (realbanda is probably his original ID at EK ).
Even this thread is because of a personal problem he has with some sri lankan bloggers.
These are the reasons why I called this thread as trolling.

Its well published and won awards over the couple of years if was released and yet no mention of it in EK.
Compare that with this whining over your browser project.

I see you havent read the full article about Sahana. That project is developed and distributed under FOSS (FREEE ans Open Source Software) terms and is given for free as well.
FOSS (free) software are promoted via Sourceforge
Sahana was initially distributed through Sourceforge. Its still maintained as a Sourceforge project and it has won awards from it (its also up for 2009 awards). So is Google summer of Code.
projects like these are the starting point for free software.
Instead of this crying around what the good doctor should've done is to start a sourceforge project for his browser. Since its given for free.

Even at Sourceforge only good projects gets nominated for awards so if any project wins awards there, then that truly is a good projects. Same for Google Summer of Code.

This is not a valid point. The Euorpean Union posed billions of dollars as fines on the Microsoft corporation for bad selling practices.
It doest matter if its a single person or a large organization.
There are a lot of widely used free software that created by individuals

Unless I'm mistaken, ICTA has done a investigation and stopped promoting this project. That's why he's bad mouthing the ICTA and the Sinhala bloggers.

it doesnt and its not allowed to speak for itself as this trolling is drowning all that.
It has some bugs that needs to be fixed. Fix those, add more features and promote the browser so that it can speak for itself.
For example, since the browser was initially launched in EK, relaunch it in EK with a EK theme or themes. Add a feature like a search box that can search EK (like the firefox search box).

Since its not ported to linux, I cant use it.
That's another thing he should've done. Port this to linux and give it to popular linux distros. Especially for small footprint distros (like DSL, Puppy linux).

change the tactics.
Use different promoting methods. Rename the browser and change the look and distribute it via various IT maganazines.
Port it to linux and promote it through the FOSSED events conducted by the lanka linux user group.
So many things to do instead of trolling.
