Whn it comes to commercial radio stations, they play a dirty game. take money frm the artists and force d listeners to listen to their crap. :growl: as far as i knw, kasun never tries to promote his music with these kinda cheap ways. so it mst b smthing with the radio stations. if its enough to make ppl dance to it, dats it 4 them!! :rofl:

i see a brighter side of this situation. at least the album will get more publicity. then the ppl will have to listen to all of its songs. den its up to the audience. kasuns music should reach more ppl rather than the few of us. hpfully nw its happening. if u had asked sm1 five years ago who's kasun kalhara, its possible dat he didnt know. bt nw more ppl knw him. if atleast 1f them become a true music lover, dats enough.. lets c.. whats gonna happen to Romantic Opera track.. dnt think dat most of d ppl in media stations are wise enough to grab it. :(

I too love 'Sada Ona' because its such a difficult song to sing.. I saw many SSS guys failed when they tred to show their talents thru this track. (Ofcourse its a very gud thing that the no of Kasun's fans get increase.. yet I'd love to see some true Kasun's fans like you.. ) Let's see hw it goes..

Thanks for reminding me 'Radical Premaya'.. I've just listened to it after sme time.. awesome.. a lot of Rock flavor.. Let us not forget Chaaminda Rathnasooriya here.. because all 3-title tracks ('Ananthayata', 'Radical Premaya', 'Romantic Opera') were written by him.. I love his lyrics.. just have a listen to those words ... very very revolutionary usage of language..
And also genius Nadeeka Guruge.. I think he is the best composer in SL after Kemadasa master.

U knw this is almost not played by most of the FM stations .. so I'm really doubtful about 'Romantic Opera' as well... I guess its too much for a regular listener..

    u hv made sm really valuable points. kasun is nt doing all of these by him self. n.g, chaminda, charith sena, sanjaya epa, even his own master, kemadasa, chapa, romein, cant remember all :baffled: helping him out on this mission. musically nadeeka g is ahead of kassa bt singing wise.. nobody even can touch kk's range.. ;)

    Guyzzz, the lyrics of Warna track are based on the begining of life on Earth as it was discoursed by Lord Buddha in Aggangnga Sutra. If you are curious, then take a look in to that sutra & know what it is about. Then, you guyz will be able to taste this song better.
    I found dis thread recently. & I'm very happy about dis. 'Coz, I'm also a very big fan of KK :). Though, I have all the 3 albums of him, I got some other songs from here. So, thanx u so much Kalana, who started dis tread. & also all the people who participated here.
    I got da song titled as "Mihidum Dhumaraye" (I think the correct word is "Mihidum", not "Meedum" as it is pronounced in the song). What a shocking song. I'm so sensitive to dis song. Though I like almost all the songs of KK, dis song took a special place in my heart. Only "Kawlu Piyan Path" could do dat. But, still my favourite Sinhala song & KK song is "Kawlu Piyan Path". :yes: From the first time I heard it, still it's my favourite song. I guess that I will never get a great Sinhala song like that, even from KK.
