Watched the trailer....movie looks good....

yeah ..ive been reading reviews which were not making the movie look good..but you can't really trust them

depends on how well the cold and aloof British gentleman is played by the American actor. Especially considering he doesn't come even close to resembling the Sherlock Holmes as described by the author.
At least someone like Hugh Laurie has the physical similarity and the British accent.

i really like rdj so id enjoy it anyway and it won't matter if he can do the accent which i think he can. i don't think this is going to be a "faithful to original book" take of the story.. and not to mention with rdj this would be a hit in usa and australia as well

I watched the american version of Shutter..then i watched the original thai version of Shutter..both were just pretty silly and dumb..and neither were scary hehe

now thatz bullshit no mia original thai movie was creepy as hell

I think there was single incident in the Book(stories alltogether) in which SH had to engage to a girl from whom he could get info abt a case he has been working on..
could be a similar thing but gotta watch this first..
