And it is great not only coz of tom hanks but amazing and beautiful cinematography from Conrad L. Hall . I have no words to describe how beautiful is cinematography and also the soundtrack. This movie won an oscar for the cinematography.

both of them had their bad times with making choices...nicolas cage in movies like city of angels and tom hanks in movies like da vinci code ..I'm not too crazy about either .. something special might require for me to sit thru any nicocals cage or tom hanks movie . .i saw bad lieutenant only for that weird plot and found cage doing it amazingly...he seriously delivered in that movie...

leonardo di caprio is a decent actor that gets the job done but he's nothing special ..quite in fact he's so boring and monotonous ..he does the same thing in every movie ..just be paranoid and run around. being in a few scorsese movies don't make you the best actor

the schindler guy you are refering to, liam neeson was decent in that movie but ralf fiennes was just better ..totally stole the spot light from liam neeson

maaaan ..don't even get me started with brad pitt he's no where near the one of best actors..he's just usual and crappy and on top of things he got the pretty face that helped his way up
