Finally watched Citizen Kane
Considering that this movie basically changed the way movies were made, its indeed great. however as a movie by itself. its not all that great. The camera angles, various sens techniques and what not, while were groundbreaking, the story itself isnt. The classic noir movies made just a few years after this one were a lot better story wise.
This certainly doesnt deserve to be #1 in the AFI. the IMDB rating is more apt.

Lets not talk about rating since there many conventions of wise panel
Including Enlightened precise method
and
Roshanth/standard estimation method
Could you plz tell some movies about
Middel east wars (Like Body of Lies , The Green Zone etc)
And
World War stuff (Valkyrie,Shindler List etc)
And Regarding Jews and Judism (Munich etc )
But plz those are should not be boring and filled with exciting chain of incidents as you can see in Apollo 13

Watched this some time ago. it's a good film.I didn't really get the rosebud thing was it supposed to mean he was sentimental?
BTW if you like old black and white comedy films watch the Don camilo films

I rarely watch black and white films and when I do I tend to watch comedies like carryons,norman wisdom films etc
The last serious black and white film I watched was Bicycle thieves.
there's a load of good movies made in black & white. The classic Noir movies, war movies, heck, Schindler's List is a B&W movie and thats from the 90s.
I have seen a few war films but not black and white like the great escape,a bridge too far and battle of britain.
I've seen Schindler's List it was quite good
