    reset battery. remove the battery and then keep on pressing the power on button for a couple of seconds. plug in the adapter and switch on the laptop to use it direct. Then shutdown and install the battery. (only a temporary fix, it will eventually come back)

    I have troubleshooted a friend's lap in the past. I remember it is a problem with Hibernation option turned on. Disable Hibernation in power options.
