    First News Paper In Sri Lanka ?.. HELP

    The oldest newspaper in Sri Lanka is the "Gnanartha Pradeepaya" printed by the Catholic Press on the 07th of June 1866, and still in circulation. Incidentally the oldest magazine in SL is "Bhakti Prabodanaya" in 1893 also by Catholic Press.
