    මම දන්න දෙන්නෙක්ට හම්බුනා ගිය අවුරුද්දෙ ඉදන් ගවර්න්මන්ට් එකෙන් දෙන එක. එකෙක් අයිලන්ඩ් 3 හරි 5 හරි. අනික් එකාට රෑන්ක් නැහැ. (ICT එක්ක මැත්ස් කලේ.) Department of higher education එකෙන් තමයි විස්තර ගන්න වෙන්නෙ

    You can directly apply to universities in the US. If you have outstanding performance, you can get accepted. I am not sure about A/L performance. But if you have International Olympiad experience. I know couple of people who got through to Ivy League Universities.

    Yes but the full schols are usually for India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and China through the ministry of education. Check the ministry website for details

    Its impossible to get even a partial schol for bachelors from a good country. Only possibility is USA but you will need a perfect SAT score 1600. Not 1598, not 1599 but 1600.

    During my year (more than 20 years ago), the Island first in Maths stream wrote to some US agencies and universities but received replies saying they won't consider without SAT scores. Things must be tougher now.

    The daughter of the late legendary Sri Lankan singer Priya Suriyasena, received a prestigious scholarship to study in Australia.
