The Supreme Court today ruled that former President Maithripala Sirisena’s decision to grant a presidential pardon to Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagoda Atte Gnanasara Thera was arbitrary and invalid in law.
A three-judge bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Janak De Silva, delivered the judgment in response to fundamental rights petitions filed by the Centre for Policy Alternatives (CPA) and Sandhya Ekneligoda, the wife of missing journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda, challenging former President Sirisena’s decision to grant the pardon.

soorasena jeppas behavior is becoming questionable . desperate president and biased chief justice are taking the country in to a dark destination. This is not gonna end well for anybody.
his comment regarding law and religion is very low iq .the laws he practices evolved from religion(Christian theology)
its astonishing that a chief justice of a country didn't know that.
imagine if hitlers Germany passed a law legalizing murder of jews (they came damn close) and the German chief justice telling jewish petitioners ' i only think of the law' .
i doubt even soorasena has the iq to understand the sentence i just typed let alone jepi dobies. country is starting to feel the impacts of decades long brain drain. average iq people have reached the top seats of the state.
