    UBUNTU - PLZ HELP

    you can run photoshop (with wine) MS Word (but Open office is built in, its way better) OpenGL games (lyk Counter strick, Amaricas Army) but you will soon find FOSS softs are better than any propritory one.. yes they copied us :)

    If you have a Pen drive. you can use it as a boot disk nah.. lot improved.. i dun have Gloria (Mint 7) couz i'm a dialup :( . but prev ones r gud

    Welcome to my world :) if you r a rat hater . best distro is slackware. (i'm using dat). or .. fedora is also gud. but Slackware is best for RAT haters :)

    mandriva is bit out dated. and lack of sup..I mean really lack of sup Suse is gud but personally i dun use it. cocuz they r just lyk the linux distro by M$ :D.. Microsoft is suping dat. so we can't trust then.. beside dat geek probs. yes its gud

    some?? hell no. its (i'm talking about 9.04) full of them :D :P i don't wanna disgrace it. but truth to be told ne ? Fedora is better if you wanna have real gud user friendliness and nice look, then go for Linux Mint. its way better

    nah fedora is better. Ubuntu 9.04 is hell sux.. they got their famus April Bug :D :P Debian is superb (now i'm writing this with deb), but i dun prefer it for a home advance user . don't go for ubuntu if you wanna get the real linux experience.

    if you r dead on photoshop, you can run it with wine (i tried CS3), dun know about 3Dmax. couz dat price is too high for me. but i know sm guys who switched from 3Dmax to Blender. couz Blender is way better than dat. it uses less resources, and easy to learn. and its the only 3D soft dat in...
