    he can you virtualbox,not best but ok!i don't have experince with ms things,but best thing he can do is just using GCC/G++ to compile :D

    yeah macho i installed VB6 on win7 for some interfacing projects.if you're newbie to C++ better use notepad to write program and compile it with g++(comes with devC++ for win) if u rellay wants MS VC++,just download VS 2010 express form MS site for free and install that :)

    I didn't had problems with VB6 on win with compatibilty mode.try to change some settings, Why don't you newer version?As it's C there is no much difference.Just get VC++ 2010
