    It never hurts to be competent at something and you should always strive to do the best you can. LLMs are fucking useless for the most part. Might be okay if all you need is the same mediocre shit that everyone is doing. That's why it works for making CRUD apps with typescript.

    zorin is based on the linux kernel, which is based in the US. I think OpenBSD is the only major OS based outside of the US. I've tried it and It's okay for advanced linux users.

    no one is going to ask you to join anything and no one is going to ask you for your qualifications. just read some code/issues in a git repo. figure out if you can fix it and fix the issue. they might mentor you. you can join google summer of code as well
