However, there are things like : using double barrels for higher power reserve, complications used to achieve magnetic resistance, things used for higher accuracy (i.e. Omega co-axial escapement) etc.. which may complicate the movement in a high-end watch, even though the function of the watch is the same.Then there are additional functionality which may complicate a movement with more parts (again, if the functionality is there, even a cheap watch will have a complicated mechanism) :* Chronograph / stopwatch* GMT (dual time) function* Day/Date Display (moon phase + perpetual calendar display mechanisms are extremely complicated)* Additional dials to display power reserve etc..</blockquote>
