So MR cannot claim that he was a great personality (in fact he did not have such great personality except in Sri Lanka, where we paid gratitude to him for ending terrorism) MR had not exhibited any worthwhile contribution to international affairs like Srima Bandaranayake, JRJ, SWRD, R. Premadasa(who was successful in delaration for year for the shelter after his speech in UN) or even to some extent by CBK . So do not be misled by MR supporters who want to belittle MS. Before becoming President MR was only 5 years acted as PM and did not hold a worthwhile ministry (first it was labour ministry where he tried to implement workers charter and ended up nothing and later in the Fisheries Ministry.(still the students who followed ocean science university did not get UGC recognition). So his political acumen was limited. Comparatively MS held very important ministries like land, Mhaweli, and later the most difficult ministry of Health. He may look small but SWRD was small too.</blockquote>
