Message: <blockquote data-quote="kmc madushan" data-source="post: 13741244" data-attributes="member: 341750">අයහපත් කාලගුණය පිළිබද නිවේදනය - Meteorological Department - Sri Lanka-<img src="https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQamv28WenyNra1zz-RBG7-CEpS9B_cIznOJO9KjUiRsGbJ2BK4" alt="" class="fr-fic fr-dii fr-draggable " style="" />අයහපත් කාලගුණය පිළිබද නිවේදනය2012 ඔක්තෝබර් 29 දින පැය 1830 ට නිකුත් කරන ලදි.ඉදිරි පැය 24 සදහා වලංගු වේ.(කාලගුණවිද්යා2 දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ, ස්වභාවික විපත් පිළිබඳ  පූර්ව අනතුරු ඇඟවීමේ මධ්ය ස්ථානය විසින් 2012 ඔක්තෝබර් 29 දින පැය 1830 ට නිකුත් කරන ලදී.)බෙංගාල ‍බොක්ක ප්රබදේශයේ පවතින ගැඹුරු පීඩන අවපාතය ප්ර්භලත්වයෙන් අඩු සුලි කුණාටුවක් දක්වා වර්ධනය වී ඇත. එය  අද (29)  අපර භාග  5.30 වන විට මුලතිව් සිට කි.මී. 100ක්  පමණ නැගෙනහිරින් ස්ථානගතව පැවතුන අතර වයඹ  දිශාවට ගමන් කරමින් හෙට (30 වන අගහරුවාදා) අලුයම් කාලයේදී (පෙරවරු 2.00 ට පමන) මුලතිව් ප්රතදේශය ආසන්නයෙන් දිවයිනට ඇතුළු වනු ඇතැයි බලාපොරොත්තු වේ. මේ හේතුවෙන් දිවයිනේ බොහෝ ප්රපදේශ සහ අසබඩ මුහුදු ප්ර දේශවල තද වැසි සහ තද සුළං ඇති වනු ඇතැයි බලාපොරොත්තු වේ. මන්නාරම සිට කන්කසන්තුරය හරහා ත්රිදකුණාමලය දක්වා වන වෙරළබඩ පහත් ප්ර දේශ මුහුදු රළ මගින් යටවීමේ හැකියාවක් පවතියි. මන්නාරම සිට  කන්කසන්තුරය, ත්රි‍කුණාමලය හරහා මඩකලපුව  දක්වා වන නොගැඹුරු සහ ගැඹුරු මුහුදු ප්රටදේශ ඉතා රළු වන අතර, නිරන්තර වැසි සහ තද සුළං ඇති වන හෙයින් එම මුහුදු ප්රහදේශ වෙත යාත්රා් කිරීමෙන් වලකින ලෙස අදාල පාර්ශව වෙත අවවාද කරනු ලැබේ. තවද දිවයිනේ බොහෝ ප්රදදේශවල වැසි ඇති විය හැකි අතර නැගෙනහිර, උතුරු, උතුරු-මැද සහ වයඹ පළාත්වල තරමක තද සුළං සමඟ ඉතා තද  වැසි (මි.මී. 150ට වැඩි) බලාපොරොත්තුවේ. දිවයිනේ අනෙකුත් ප්ර දේශ  වල තැනින් තැන තද වැසි  (මි.මී. 100 ට වැඩි) අපේක්ෂා කෙරේමේ සම්බන්ධව කාලගුණ විද්යාස දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව නිරන්තර අවධානයෙන් සිටින බැවි දන්වා සිටින අතර දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව විසින් නිකුත් කරනු ලබන තොරතුරු පිළිබඳව අවධානය යොමු කරන මෙන් ජනතාවගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැබේ.කාලගුණවිද්යා් දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ, ස්වභාවික විපත් පිළිබඳ  පූර්ව අනතුරු ඇඟවීමේ මධ්යටස්ථානය විසින් නිකුත් කරන ලදී.BAD WEATHER WARNINGSIssued at 29th October 2012 at 1830 hrs valid for next 24 hours(Issued by Early Warning Center of the Department of Meteorology)The deep depression has intensified into marginal cyclone( not severe )  and was located about 100 km East of Mullaitivu at 1730 hours today (29). It is likely to move North-westward and enter the Sri Lankan coast near Mulattivu early morning hours tomorrow (around 0200hrs, 30th) causing heavy showers and strong winds over most parts of the country and surrounding sea areas. Low line coastal areas from Mannar to Trincomalee via Kankasanthurai may be slightly inundated by sea waves. Shallow and deep sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to Batticaloa via Kankasasnturai ,Trincomalee will experience very rough conditions, strong winds and intermittent rain.   Therefore fishing and naval community is advised to refrain from maritime activities in these seas. Most parts of the island will experience rainy conditions. Strong winds and very heavy rain falls (more than 150 mm) will also occur in the Eastern, Northern, North- central and North -western provinces.
