The problem is they will only consider how rich you are, not your qualifications (Due to the fact this is sri lanka). It's good idea. But it isn't practical. The only result will be some idiotic goons with a degree that doesn't know thing but had the ability to buy the degree. As long as it will demand qualifications that are similar or a bit less than a government university, it's okay.    Why do you think mahinda put the general in jail in the first place? They arrested him claiming that he was going to overthrow the government.That's a serious claim. But is that what he was charged for? No. This is called political revenge. According to them, even going against them in a election is a capitol crime. Mahinda should & must apologize from the General. So you think mahinda runs the country alone. Then why does he keep more than 30 advisers.If that's your logic let me show you some examples.Charles de Gaulle - was a soldier in the first world war and the french military commander after the Germans captured France. He commanded the free french forces. He was a military man for most of his life.After the war ended in 1945 he was the one who helped France get back on her feet. He didn't wait for ten years to gain political experience.More than half of American presidents have a military careers.  George Washington - The 1st US president.
