But according to 2011 census there was only 9.7% Muslims live in S/L. Even they breed like rabbits, it may not happen in this century. Muslims are the third behind Buddhists and Hindus. So because of the fear of they becoming the majority, we should not create a barrier between other religions or nationalities. It make more harm than good. I am not having a stand like "only good Muslim is a dead Muslim ", but I always give priority to my own Sinhala Buddhists.I have a similar story here in Australia too. Australian muslim population is only 2.2% . Christian (R/C, non R/C) are the majority, Buddhists second, islam is the third religion in Australia. But when the new parliament sworn in and having the maiden speeches, senator Pauline Hanson said that Australia will be inundated with muslims soon, and they will try to govern Australia with sharia law. But every parliamentarian (except 2 or 3 of her own one nation party members ) reject her speech and said it is an insult on multiculturalism. But the point I am making is, she (Pauline) is one of least educated member of the parliament , (unlike Sri Lanka, majority of oz MPs are well educated).
