Message: <blockquote data-quote="Pessimist" data-source="post: 23903101" data-attributes="member: 566496">what do you mean go back ? we are having a cast system right now. the only difference is in past social hierarchy was defined by birth while in modern time it's defined by one's job, education, material gain etc. we are having a modern cast system and just like you didn't notice or felt bad about it, so was the situation with them in the past. people learn to live with the facts grown up experiencing. then they feel it's completely normal until someone comes along questioning the foundation of that society. so the conclusion is they couldn't have felt as bad as we think they must have living in that cast system just like we don't feel anything strange or seriously wrong in our cast system.</blockquote>
