Sri Lanka National Anti Doping Organisation (NADO) chairman Dr. Geethanjana Mendis refused to comment on the matter. “I cannot say anything on that”, he said yesterday. SLC Interim Committee secretary Nishantha Ranatunga denied there was any incident and said it probably originated parallel to the news of the prominent weight lifter Chinthana Vidanage’s positive test. SLC Head of Operations Ashley de Silva also denied the left hand batsman was tested positive. “No player has been tested recently to our knowledge and if it happened at the World Cup, we would have known it a long time ago.
