You can see the tone of some comments on this for example.EV can be charged after 10 pm not during peak for logistical reasons. This is the time most EVs are idle in any country! and charging is done.My only issue is why Day time charging is not encouraged as most of the day time generation is renewal (solar/hydro). Govt purchase a unit at Rs 19 and can be given with similar markup during peak and if this is done most charging will only be during day and excess solar energy is utilised .</blockquote>
