Introducing GF to family. I hope this story might help you to introduce your GF to your parents. This happened around mid eighties. A friend of mine had a serious affair with a girl, who considered as low cast. His parents (specially mother) declare war against this, so he could not introduce her to his mother. At that time he has to undergo an elective surgery (pre planned non emergency surgery), and fixed a date for that. But, he not inform his mother about the surgery date. He told his mother, he is attending the clinic, and he may have to admit for the surgery if the hospital had beds. He ask his mother to come and visit him in visiting hours. So, his mum turns up and found out he has to stay in hospital for the surgery, and wants to rush out and get all the basic necessaries (clothing, toiletries etc) for a hospital stay. Then the third episode starts. A girl enter the arena with big travelling bag, and my friend said to his mum, AMME, ME XXXX, EYA THAMAYI MAMA YAALU WELAA INNE ! The reply was "HUH" sound with a full 180 turn away from the girl. So that poor girl open up the bag, and start unpacking. A sarong, towel, toothpaste, toothbrush, shaving cream, etc etc came out and put on the bed. Then I said to amma, you need not to rush home now, everything he needs is here. Then amma starts to put those things in the locker, so I walked out of the room with the other friend and allow them some private time. Half an hour later we saw an old lady being helped out at the stairs by a young girl. Even after the stairs, they still holding hands together, which continue until her(amma's) death some 30 years later. I am proud to say, I was the director, and writer of this whole drama, which end up with the happiest ending you can ever imagine.
