High Court jurisdiction is over this period , the accused got 2 years. I think he has got everything on the lower side. I do not know the charge. In any event suspension means he goes home . 300,000 is nothing to politician there are enough sponsors. I do not think the punishment was adequate. This will be appealed in the end and ultimately even the suspended sentence will be in doubt: this is an eye wash. Do not get fooled. This case was due to pressure from the teachers' trade union. Neither the prosecution nor the judge wanted to punish the accused, but to satisfy the masses. Who said that justice should be seemed to be done. That is what happened. The politician after the judgment said he is happy with the verdict, has the cat come out of the bag.
