He co-owns The Wallawwa, a 14-bedroom boutique hotel near the airport, with Mike Davies, a close school friend and like-minded cricket lover from Bryanston School in Dorset. Charlie is passionate about his food, cricket and loves escaping to Sri Lanka’s hill-country, especially Victoria golf club or a tea estate bungalow, with Suthami, their daughter Zara and Chillie, their cocker spaniel.</blockquote>
