One cannot trust the Chinese at  all. It's commonly said that every Chinese has a thousand faces.They are everywhere these days - from SL to PNG.  They are building a $400 million Chinatown in Port Moresby.About three years ago I did a five week tour in Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe & Botswana. After the end of the tour I boarded a Kenyan airways flight from Nairobi. The final destination was Guanzhou and I had to change over in BKK.The flight was full of Chinese. But I haven't seen many Chinese tourists in the safari places. I was bit surprised this many tourists travel from China.Anyway there was a young Chinese girl next to me and after the take off I started talking to her. She could communicate in good English and told me that none of the Chinese in the aircraft were tourists. She said they reside in Kenya. She told me that her father & the mother came in during the early 1960's to settle in Africa. In fact, the Chinese Government funded them to come and establish a business and a farm. They were told that they have to colonise the countries that had land with a developing potential.This shows the Chinese vision in the 1960's.
