“One STF soldier underwent a surgery and. he is being treated at ICU following the assault by university students.” ~ A news Now here is THE TRUTH. A STF soldier presented to the NHSL accident service last evening with chest pain. As it was revealed later he was the one in command of the STF unit which assaulted students yesterday at health ministry. A probable muscle injury was excluded at accident service. Then he was sent to ETU & was diagnosed to have a heart attack (extensive STEMI) Initial stabilization was done at ETU and was transferred to Cardiology Unit for definitive management. Then he underwent an angiogram which revealed triple vessel disease. Stenting was done. Now the patient is stable and manged at cardiology ICU. Some facts I would like to highlight: 01. Chest pain can be due to a heart attack, gastritis, muscle pain and 101 other reasons. If a soldier comes with chest pain following an alleged attack, what is the most likely cause? He even came straight to the accident service? So the easy guess is a muscle injury. What if NHSL doctors made that wrong diagnosis and missed the heart attack? What if there was a delay? That's where clinical exposure and competency come into play which are the least concerns of fraudulent degree shops like SAITM. 02. Media will always fabricate stories to manipulate and increase the news value. But believe nothing unless you know the whole story. Rajitha today held a big media concert where he emphasized this STF soldier undergoing a “surgery“ and being treated in “ICU.” So as a rule of thumb, listen to what Rajitha says and believe the opposite. Kiriella, SB and Akila too are more or less in the same boat 03. Doctors will treat patients irrespective of their circumstances. No matter how you label them or stab them in the back. That's why the STF chief who was incharge of yesterday's attack on university students is well looked after even at this point, at cardiology ICU. Of course doctors have flaws. After all they too are humans. But if you think SAITM is the answer, sorry to burst your bubble. You are delusional. That's all. Now let's wish that brave soldier a speedy recovery ! #Abolish_SAITM
