A decision has been made to increase the prices of bakery items with effect from Monday (23).

According to the All-Ceylon Bakery Owners’ Association, the price of a loaf of bread will be increased by Rs 5.

Meanwhile, the prices of other bakery products will increase by Rs. 10.

The price of 1kg of cake will increase by Rs. 100.
