Yes he/she can work his/her ass off. gather necessary skills, revise, memorize, recall and in his/her next shy he/she get 3Bs, 1A 2Bs or if he is extremely lucky and talented now 2A1B. And those results are good enough to be a doctor. So you might get selected in to a med fac ( Note- i used the word "might" because  in this highly competitive setup your results might be inadequate ) Yes if you pass 6 subjects including Maths and science can choose Bio stream for your A/Ls.
