Phone conversation established that personal mobile phone of Mr. Rishad for alleged threat. The mob attacked the court and made damages to property, amounting to considerable value.dispute arose between two rival gangs of the area. One party were supporters of them Minister Rishad, who was very powerful and untouchable  under MR.MR govt refused to prosecute him for contempt, damage to property , threat to magistrate, obstruction of officail duty etc. A respected lawyer filed a private action against contempt of court(this is the first time as far as I know). Bar Association supported this contempt proceedings as an interested party.Court of Appeal settled the criminal action filed by this lawyer. He without even accepting wrongdoing expressed regret ?? for what??We know Ranjan and SB were imprisoned for just some statements . Not threatening and setting fire and leading mobs to attack and destroy Court House.This was not very long ago. We have forgotten (may be poor Magistrate remember the incident well) . If he is still there after this degrading treatment to his complaint regarding obstruction to official duty by minister!! This is Sri Lanka!!</blockquote>
