There main road in between  SLRC and SLBC , a  road used to ply buses . It was permanently closed for nearly 30 years ! With some bunkers in the guise of security !! Who would attack SLRC and SLBC when we have more than half a century of electronic channels for broadcast!!Even now there is a main road that connects parliament drive with Hospital road. This is marked in Sri Jayawardanapura City Map and was constructed before Parliament was build. This is a straight road that goes across Parliament (This road is presently closed with a Gate permanently by Police!!. Most of the tar sealed parts of the road have disappeared and gravel had taken over!! This was never opened though security in country improved!!We live in a country where laws are violated by GR, MR, Cabinet, MPs, three forces, Police and every sphere of govt institutions including Courts of Law. Who said "my words are govt circulars" and they override any circulars or Regulations issued under Acts and who cheered this idiotic statement by head of state at Lankagama just two years ago! (I salute the bravery of poor Govt Servant who showed the idiotic Head of State that he was naked , very early, but he had to eat the humble pie (due to no fault of him)!!</blockquote>
