It was Eranga? or similar name with something like water fountain as its logo(this is all I remember).A notable new entry to Cassette industry was Gypsis Enterprise , whose second cassette (again from memory ) was Victor Rathnayake's albem called "Kage Sinado" which had 'Malpokuru Pokuru' song which became a hit and remains so even now after so many decades!!. Gypsis Enterprises started to produce one cassette albem per week!! Which was remarkable at that time or even now!! I can remember for the first time they did a cassete with late Chithra and PLA Somapala's everlasting songs with 'new music' long before this bacame a fad(by Sunflowers etc). At that time I did not like it as it sounded 'strange' to me as I have heard those songs only with one type of music (from SLBC music group mainly eastern instruments)It is worth some person to do a good research as most of the people involved in early development are still living.When all this happing Torana was doing copying (mainly Enghlish) songs? Their first sinhala cassette was popular 16 songs from Clarence's memorabilia in 90s and it became an instant hit as they went for second production as all cassettes were sold in record time!!</blockquote>
