One thing is clear that these are not Japanese origin oils.MITASU — the brand of supposedly “Japanese oils” actually belongs to Russian entrepreneur Igor Segrots. On the packaging and in the advertisement there is an inscription — Japan (the legal entity is actually registered in Japan in 2010), according to the barcode — Malaysia, and according to the customs base — Singapore. According to the information, this gear oil is bottled in Singapore at the facilities of the United Oil Company. It should be noted that for some reason this gear oil is sold only in Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan. In Japan itself, this brand no one knows and this oil is not sold there. We have no data that the quality of this transmission fluid is low or high (there is simply no independent research data), respectively, we are talking exclusively about personal trust / distrust of this brand based on their available information about the manufacturer of the product.TOTACHI — the brand is owned by the Russian company World Lubricants. This is the Russian dealer of oils ENEOS. Previously, this dealer had an exclusive oil ENEOS in the Russian market, and after that the exclusive rights ended, they (following the example of MITASU) came up with selling their “Japanese butter” and registered the brand “TOTACHI”. In Japan itself, this brand is also unknown, and products under this brand are not sold there.
