[QUOTE="Hyaenidae, post: 21855239, member: 530392"] In my case the Lancer was the car which made me a Mitsubishi fan. Lemme tell how I made my mind to buy a Mitsubishi - The main reason was how the car made me feel when test driving it. I had never experienced that much confidence when driving - the confident feeling you get when clearing a corner, that tight feel of the steering, the suspension keeping the car on the road like it's on rails... I had experience driving almost all the cars in this segment, Toyota models, Honda FDs, Mazda Axelas etc. None of them felt this much "right". It wasn't the most comfortable ride, the suspension whilst helping with handling didn't do much to hide road imperfections. Tyres made a phenomenal road noise  ...But it was perfectly put together, the engine room was well protected from road debris, the underside was coated with rust-proof paint, had 16'' wheels with 205/60R16 tyres (bigger than most of the cars of this segment), had the ol' reliable conventional auto transmission while most cars on this segment had CVTs, overall everything about the car felt really solid. The authorized agent for Mitsubishi was well praised by the Mitsubishi owners for their after sales service - so I made my mind at last and pulled the trigger. After owning the car for nearly 3 years I think I've attained the highest form of Mitsubishi fanboyhood :D I'm in love with the car to the point that I'm determined to never ever sell this car - even if I buy another car in the future I won't let go of this till my last breath leaves my lips. (touch wood) this car proved to me again and again this is the perfect car for me - it was the only car which didn't scrape its underside when I drove it through rough terrain with my friends who owned JDM Toyotas. I could keep up with any speeding vehicle I meet on my commute to work. It didn't burn a hole in my pocket to get the routine maintenance done by the agent. It gives good gas mileage. It's reasonably comfortable. It's a definite head-turner, and a rare sight on Sri Lankan roads. What more could I possibly ask for? :) Edit: Like isurueka said, Maruti Suzuki is a very successful company and a thriving business - but we all know how their cars make us feel when driving one don't we?
