During that time, Kosovo people became refugees due to the war between them and Serbia. So united nations ask help from developed countries to pitch in to accommodate refugees, until a proper peace treaty being implement in there . Australian government chartered boing 747s to ferry them (I cant exactly remember how many refugees, but few thousand at least)  to Australia, and (then) PM John Howard went in to airport to welcome them . Australian military forces being mobilised to make emergency accommodation which is 100 times better than their basic living standard before the war . On arrival they being taken in to clothing stores, and allow them to choose 3 sets of clothes in every category like tops bottoms pyjamas, undies socks shoes etc etc.(I was living in Aus over 25 years, I never bought three sets of clothing like that in my life).  They being well fed by government, but these people start to wonder around in shopping centres and pick things up from shelves and walk out without paying. That was only the start. I cant type everything they did, but at the end of war, they being asked to go back to Kosovo, and oz government provide them with $2500 each to start their lives at home, on top of the things they gather during their stay. Most families had 4/5 kids, so, they get over 15k which was lots of money in anybody's language . Only a handful of people agreed to go, and Oz government facing a crisis here. Then they offer $5000 each, and again only handful left. Then for the third time its increase to 10,000 and force them to leave. At this point they trash their accommodation, smash all the glass, furniture etc, urinate and splash faeces inside the accommodation.   With all these trouble they prove one thing . They are not hesitate to "BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS THEM."</blockquote>
