Around 650 km length of Provincial and Local Authority roads are to improve in Eastern Province under this programme.A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed in between Road Development Authority and Eastern Provincial Council on 29.08.2016 for implementation of selected roads, including 03 years performance based maintenance under i Road project in the Eastern Province. Mr. N.N. Sooriyarachchi, Chairman, RDA and Mr. D.M.S. Abayagunawardana, Chief Secretary, EPC have signed the MoU.Roads for rehabilitation and improvements were selected from all D.S.
