The first stage consisting of 37.3 kms from Kadawatha to Mirigama will be constructed by a Chinese firm while the third stage consisting of 34.1 Km from Pothuhera to Galagedara will be constructed by a Japanese company and is funded by Tokyo Mitsubishi Bank and is awaiting Request for proposals. Section four consisting of 63.8 kilometers will be constructed by a Chinese company.Negotiations for the third and fourth stages are going on.The Road Development Authority has already measured 20,000 lands acquired them and paid compensation and work on the stage one has already begun and there will be 14 interchanges.- <a href="http://www.adaderana.lk/news/37877/central-expressway-to-be-completed-by-end-2019" target="_blank">http://www.adaderana.lk/news/37877/central-expressway-to-be-completed-by-end-2019</a>මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගය 2020දී ජනතා අයිතියට මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ මෙන් ම රුවන්පුර ඇතුළු අධිවේගී මාර්ගවල ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු 2020 වසරේ දී අවසන් කෙරෙන බව උසස් අධ්‍යාපන හා මහාමාර්ග අමාත්‍ය ලක්ෂ්මන් කිරිඇල්ල මහතා පැවසීය. කිරිඇල්ල අමාත්‍යවරයා මේ බව ප්‍රකාශ කළේ අද (16) පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ පැවැති කැබිනට් තීරණ දැනුම්දීමේ ප්‍රවෘත්ති සාකච්ඡාවට එක්වෙමිනි. මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගය අදියර 04ක් යටතේ ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන අතර එහිදී ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු පළමු අදියර වන කඩවත සිට මීරිගම දක්වා වූ කිලෝමීටර් 37.1ක දුර ප්‍රමාණය චීන සමාගමක් වෙතද, දෙවන අදියර වන මීරිගම සිට කුරුණෑගල දක්වු වූ කිලෝමීටර් 39.7ක් ද, අඹේපුස්ස දක්වා වූ කිලෝමීටර් 9.3ක දුර ප්‍රමාණය ශ්‍රී ලංකා සමාගමක් වෙතද, තුන්වැනි අදියර වන පොතුහැර සිට ගලගෙදර දක්වා වූ කිලෝමීටර් 32.5ක් දුර ජපන් සමාගමක් වෙතද, කුරුණෑගල සිට දඹුල්ල දක්වා වූ කිලෝමීටර් 60.3ක ප්‍රමාණය ජපන් සමාගමක් වෙතද පවරා ඇත. ප්‍රථමවරට ශ්‍රී ලංකා සමාගමක් වෙත අධිවේගී මාර්ගයක ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු පවරා ඇත්තේ මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ වන අතර ඒ හරහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා සමාගමක් 15කට අන්තර්ජාතික ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු ලබාගැනීමේ දී සුදුසුකම් ලබාගැනීමේ හැකියාව ලැබී ඇතැයි ද මෙහිදී අමාත්‍යවරයා පෙන්වා දුන්නේය. මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගයේ ඉදිකිරීම් කටයුතු මේ වන විට 10%ක් පමණ සිදු කොට ඇති බවත් ඉතිරි අදියරයන් ත්‍රිත්වයේ ප්‍රසම්පාදන කටයුතු අවසන් අදියරේ පවතින බවත් අධිවේගී මාර්ග ව්‍යාපෘතියේ නියෝජ්‍ය අධ්‍යක්ෂ එල්.බී.එ8ස්. වීරකෝන් මහතා පැවසීය. මෙම සම්පූර්ණ මධ්‍යම අධිවේගී මාර්ගය හුවමාරු ස්ථානයන් 17කින් පමණ සමන්විත වේ.- <a href="http://sinhala.news.lk/news/world-3/item/20369-2020" target="_blank">http://sinhala.news.lk/news/world-3/item/20369-2020</a></blockquote>
