The draft plans which have been prepared by the Urban Development Authority in consultation with relevant stakeholder agencies were officially handed over to the Minister of Megapolis & Western Development, Honorable Patali Champika Ranawaka, on 11th of March 2019 at a formal presentation event organized by the UDA with the presence of relevant stakeholders. The Draft Plans are available for public review in the website, <a href="http://www.uda.gov.lk" target="_blank">www.uda.gov.lk</a> for 60 days from 11th of March 2019. UDA invites all stakeholders and general public to review the draft plans and forward the reviews and comments directly through the link given in above website or to the email addresses - <a href="mailto:uda.researchunit@gmail.com">uda.researchunit@gmail.com</a>/ <a href="mailto:wpudaccdp@gmail.com">wpudaccdp@gmail.com</a>. The comments, reviews and clarifications can also be posted in the Official Facebook Pages of Colombo Commercial City Development Plan - 2019-2030 and Capital City Development Plan - 2019-2030 or have it mailed to the postal address;Research & Development Unit Division, Urban Development Authority, 9th Floor, ‘Sethsiripaya – Stage I’,Battaramulla, Sri LankaUDA expects that all citizens, stakeholders and interested parties shall be well-informed of the contents of the draft plans and will effectively contribute to improve them with their constructive comments.
