And the average Sri lankan man quarrals with the conductor over one rupee change.I saw a notice on a 193 route bus urging the conductors not to let beggers on buses like 2 weeks ago.if anything our people are being exploited by the beggers. rather than the other way around.I have never in my life seen a pregnant mother on standing in a bus without a seat. The worst scenario would be the conductor blaming everybody in general for like 5 sec before somebody stands up. In this country people give seats to children , old people and even in some occasions people exchange seats or even donate seats so that small families could sit together.Blame the corrupt politicians, corrupt clergy but do not blame the Sri Lankan Public.They are not as the ones described in your poem. All the practices you describe are frowned upon by the sri lankan public.(And talking of clergy why do we never see poems about corrupt clergy other than Buddhist monks I have never seen a poem against a corrupt catholic or Islamic priest )Your "poem" requires no imagination or inspiration. It is not very different from letters to the editor on a daily newspapers complaining about declining social values from a  generation which had absolutely no values to begin withHowever You do fit into that bugger with maxim gorky book for you are providing self criticism from inside the very society you live in.</blockquote>
