You know, pioneers used to sail to new lands that were thousands of miles away from their homes; there was no way to supply food as requested. So the first few years of the settlers lives almost depended on hunting, and most had various diseases that came with hunger; almost all of them starved throughout the year, and some died in the winter. but they cultivated new lands, and eventually the food shortage was over. So their governor decided to celebrate the occasion with this festival of Thanksgiving. They thank God for supporting them throughout the year to help them get a good crop yield before the harsh winter.</p></blockquote><p></p>
