Can't think of a place to grab info in this topic as this is kinda specific for our country.. but try seating on google. The bottom line is, foreign universities has better capabilities in being up to date with the industry as the industry is emerged and growing in those countries. So its better to be linked with those universities.If its a subject like nano technology, that requires certain advance instrument to teach the student in that area. This is just an example that facilities matters too, not only the exams and the study load. Some people says that the next industrial revolution is going to be based on nano technology (some people = a chemistry professor from a SL university). If we do not have necessary equipment to study that here, which clearly illustrate that our system is not ready for the day tomorrow. This is just to contrast why its good to keep contacts with foreign universities, not to criticize the SL universities.</blockquote>
